THE PLANNING PROCESS

From the moment you book, the experience begins. I’ll guide you through each step so the lead-up to your elopement feels exciting, not overwhelming. Here’s how we’ll bring your Scotland day to life:

Step 1 — Questionnaire & Scotland Elopement Guide
Once you’re booked, you’ll receive two things:

• My private Scotland Elopement Guide (digital PDF) — 50+ pages of insider tips, hidden locations, seasonal advice, and inspiration to spark your imagination.

• Your custom questionnaire — designed to help me get to know you, your love story, and your elopement dreams.
  It’s perfectly fine if you’re light on ideas at this stage — the Guide will get the wheels turning. And if you feel stuck, we can hop on a Zoom to brainstorm together.

Step 2 — Location Recommendations
After reviewing your questionnaire, I’ll curate 1–2 dream locations that suit your vision (if you don’t already have one in mind), the time of year, and the kind of experience you want — whether that’s a misty forest glen, a rugged coastal cliff, or somewhere steeped in history.

Step 3 — Custom Timeline
Once your location is set, I’ll design a timeline that balances light, landscape, and flow. This ensures you have time for everything — from hair and makeup to travel breaks — without feeling rushed. This is where my years of experience and on-the-ground knowledge make all the difference.

Step 4 — Your Logistics Guide
When your location(s) and timeline are finalized, I’ll send over your custom Logistics Guide. It’s your elopement day playbook, with offline maps, checklists, reminders, phone numbers, and everything you’ll need to feel fully prepared.

Throughout the process, we’ll check in by email regularly so you feel supported every step of the way. My goal is to make this stage as fun and inspiring as the day itself.
