KANANASKIS ELOPEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER

PACKAGES & PRICING

For couples who want a wedding day that feels a little wild, a little breath-stealing, and a little off the map

Kananaskis feels like the kind of place where you can finally exhale

It’s quieter out here.

Less busy, fewer crowds, more space to just be together.

You won’t find packed parking lots or crowds with selfie sticks out here. What you will find?

Wide-open trails, wildflower meadows you don’t have to share, and lakes that make you stop mid-step just to take it all in.

It’s a little rugged. A little untamed. A little moody in all the right ways.

The kind of place where you can hear yourself think. And say what really matters, without an audience.

Just the two of you, somewhere wild and real, with no distractions, and views so damn beautiful you’ll talk about them for the rest of your lives.

There’s always this one second…

When you’re standing in the middle of it—

maybe beside a lake, maybe in the trees, maybe halfway up a trail—and it hits you.

We’re really doing this. This is actually happening.

And not in a big, dramatic, over-the-top kind of way.

In a way that feels easy. Real. Yours.

That’s what I’m here to capture.

Not just the absolutely stunning views, but the feeling underneath it. The real, beautiful, blink-and-you’ll-miss-it stuff.

The soft glances. The “you good?” hand squeeze. The deep breath before the vows. The quiet parts. The unplanned stuff.

The moments that don’t scream for attention—but stays with you anyway.

Because yeah—you deserve to relive that. Not just once. But again and again.

I'm not just your elopement photographer. I'm your Kananaskis accomplice.

I’ve spent years chasing light through this corner of the Rockies, chasing good light through the valleys, scouting quiet trails with mountain views that’ll stop you mid-sentence, and finding those just-out-of-sight spots where it actually feels like you’ve got the whole place to yourselves.

I know which trailheads are worth the early wake-up, which lakes are better with coffee at sunrise, and how to read a Kananaskis weather forecast (aka...with backup plans). I’ll help you sort permits, prep for whatever weather shows up, and find a spot to grab a drink and celebrate once you’ve officially tied the knot.

Whether you want to hike up to a quiet lookout in Peter Lougheed, say your vows lakeside at Upper K, or keep it simple with a short trail and a view that makes you forget what you were saying—I’m here to help you do it your way.

YOU WANT A MOMENT LIKE THIS ONE

We took Kaitlyn's advice and scheduled 2 hours for our couple portraits. We're really glad we did this because it was really fun and gave us some quiet time.

It also created a very relaxed hike and we didn't feel rushed through portraits. We thought we would have to go back early because of the weather but she assured us the pictures would be beautiful with the overcast sky and they were mind-blowing!

We had such a great time and I'm really glad Kaitlyn was there to help us create such an amazing elopement day and capture it for us, we have so many great pictures to look back on and retell our story.

We also saw a bridge and she made us stand on it and she ran to the other part of the trail to get some more long shots of us on the bridge haha it reminded us all of Lord of the Rings.”

HOW I HELP YOU BRING YOUR DREAM KANANASKIS ELOPEMENT TO LIFE

(Without the stress, the spreadsheets, or the endless Pinterest scrolls.)

/ First, you tell me everything:

Fill out my inquiry form and spill the tea. How you met, the proposal, what you’re dreaming up, the vibes, the views, all of it. From there, we’ll hop on a call to see if we’re a good fit (spoiler: probably yes).

/ I send over the good stuff:

Once we’re official, you’ll get my Kananaskis Elopement Guide. This is not a generic PDF. Think secret spots, hand-picked vendor recs, travel tips, timelines, and all the behind-the-scenes magic that you won't find on Reddit. We'll collaborate on everything from the perfect loch to the tastiest post-ceremony meal.

/ We plan your day, your way:

From ideal ceremony times to backup plans (hello, Alberta weather), I’ll help you build a day that flows naturally and feels totally you. I’ll coordinate with vendors, create a custom timeline, and send you a personalized logistics guide so you know exactly what’s happening and when.

/ You say “I Do”. I capture it all:

We meet at your chosen spot. You explore, vow, and soak it all in. I’ll be there, quietly documenting every bit of it. From the nervous glances to the ugly-crying (the good kind) to the "holy crap we just got married" grins. Expect to laugh a lot, maybe cry a little, and definitely have moments where you forget I'm even there.

 / The magic lives on:

Within 3-5 days, I’ll deliver a sneak peek gallery, so you can relive your day and share it with the people you love. Your full gallery will follow, filled with honest, emotional, artful photos you’ll never want to stop looking at.

Add a Boudoir Session to Your Elopement Experience

Because this is about celebrating all the sides of your love.

The cozy

The wild

The for your eyes only.

If you’re curious, let’s talk.

Kaitlyn made me feel comfortable and confident about myself. The anxiety quickly slipped away and, at times, I forgot I was even being photographed!

My only worry was not being able to be serious in photos. I have some insecurities with being in the spotlight having to pose in front of a camera. However, Kaitlyn made me feel comfortable and confident about myself. The anxiety quickly l slipped away and at times, I forgot I was even being photographed!

Don’t see exactly what you need? Or have a vision in your head that doesn’t quite fit the boxes?

Let’s chat and plan your dream Kananaskis elopement together.

HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT ELOPING IN KANANASKIS?

  • Most couples book 4-12 months out, but I sometimes have last-minute spots. If your date’s still up in the air, reach out anyway and we’ll chat availability.

  • Late spring through early fall is your best bet for snow-free trails and easier access to the good stuff. May means fresh greenery and quieter crowds. Summer brings long days and those glowing turquoise lakes. Fall? Pure magic. Golden larches, crisp air, and way fewer people. That said, if you’re into snowy vibes, winter elopements here are stunning too. Just dress warm, embrace the cozy, and plan to skip the hiking.

  • Yes, all locations will require a ceremony permit. I’ll handle the research and walk you through what’s required (and what’s not), so you’re not stuck spiraling on Google the night before your vows.

  • Yep! If you want to make it official in Alberta, you’ll need to grab a marriage license in-person from any Alberta registry office, no residency required. It’s super straightforward, and I’ll send you all the info you need to make it easy.

  • Absolutely. I’ve got a solid list of Alberta vendors I trust. People who get the vibe and make the process feel seamless. Florists, hair and makeup, officiants…we’ll build a team that fits your style and energy.

  • Because I'm not interested in giving you 15 versions of the same pose with slightly different angles. I want every image in your gallery to make you feel something. These photos take time to create, to edit, and to perfect. I’d rather give you a smaller set of images you’re obsessed with than hundreds you’ll never print.

  • You bet. Whether you want a cozy cabin in the woods, a cute lodge with big mountain views, or something luxe and tucked away, I’ve got recs. Let me know the vibe you’re after—rustic, romantic, moody, modern—and I’ll point you in the right direction.

  • Kananaskis weather is a whole thing. You might get sun, snow, and sideways rain in the same afternoon, but don’t stress. I always build in flexibility, keep a few backup options in my back pocket, and know how to make the most of whatever the skies are doing. Some of my favourite photos have happened when the weather got wild. Mist, mood, wind-in-your-hair energy? We’ll roll with it.

  • Definitely. I’ll send you everything from where to fly into and how to rent a car, to which trails are easiest with jet lag and which cafés are worth stopping at on your way out of town. If you’re making a trip out of it (and you should), I’ve got all the good stuff.

  • Most couples start with the 4-hour package (aka The Short Story) and upgrade as we talk through the timeline, locations, and your vision for the day. Sometimes a few hours is all you need. Sometimes you realize you want time for slow mornings, extra portraits, or an unhurried hike—and we build from there.

  • If you’re leaning toward a longer day, I always recommend chatting through it together before locking anything in. You can absolutely start with a smaller package and upgrade once we’ve mapped things out. No pressure, no stress.

  • Fill out this form to connect with me! We'll hop on a quick call or email back and forth to figure out the best fit. I’ll guide you through it so nothing gets missed, and everything feels easy.
